Anonymous Wrong declaration, something like “black felt for home decoration” not saying it’s a vinyl record. There were problems with customs. Ringware from weight of records onto jacket (There should’ve been cardboard seperating the records with the jackets)
Hi Karlo,
Thank you for your feedback.
Regarding the customs declaration, we have previously experienced customs issues when shipping vinyl records to Croatia, where audio/visual products may be subject to additional import duties and customs procedures. For this reason, a more general description was used for the shipment, based on our previous shipping experience, with the intention of making the customs process easier for the customer. We are sorry that this caused inconvenience in your case.
Regarding the ring wear, we understand your concern. Even when the records are removed from the jackets, pressure during international transportation can still occasionally cause ring impressions or pressure marks on the outer jackets.
If you would like each record and jacket to be individually separated and reinforced with additional rigid cardboard, we are of course happy to provide this extra packing service. Just let us know when placing your order and we will arrange it for you. Please note that this will slightly increase the shipping cost due to the additional packaging material, weight and parcel size.
Thank you for your feedback. We will continue improving our packaging options for international shipments.
Thank you again for your order and support.
Best regards,
Dave
